I value organizations that improve communities and help others with compassion. For over 20 years, ROLDA has worked to end animal homelessness through humane and sustainable solutions. I am proud to join a group of dedicated, committed and caring individuals in supporting neglected and abused animals.

Animals have had my entire heart since I was a little child. I have always felt a deep, almost instinctive need to protect them, to stand up for them and to help those who have no voice of their own. Being able to turn that lifelong passion into something meaningful through ROLDA is one of the greatest gifts I could have been given. I am deeply grateful to be part of this extraordinary mission and to work alongside people who share that same determination to make a difference. Every animal we reach is a precious life — deserving of kindness, safety, dignity and a chance to know what love feels like. Knowing that, through ROLDA, I can help change the lives of so many vulnerable souls means more to me than I can put into words. This isn’t simply something I do — it is something I care about with my whole heart and am determined to help make a difference!

Hello ! My name is Staicy and I live in a little paradise called Switzerland. I am definitely a dog person and have had the chance to grow up surrounded by them. Edgar, my pug, is the biggest fan of walks (well, also a big fan of naps) and is the best companion for our adventures through the woods, by the lake or across the fields.
When we are not outside, I enjoy watching horror movies, thinking about my next tattoo, decorating and trying new vegetarian dishes.
In 2024, I was looking for an organization where I could volunteer my free time and I came across ROLDA, which was looking for an English-French translator. ROLDA not only helps stray animals, they also rescue animals who suffer from the war, assist people who are unable to properly care for their pets and support other rescuers. As an animal lover, helping to share the stories of animals who are not as fortunate as our beloved pets here in Switzerland is exactly what I was looking for.
